Round Hours In Excel

There is a function you can use to round hours in Excel if you don’t want to display only full hours. Here is how to do that.

MROUND() function rounds values to desired multiples. If you use this function with a cell that contains a time value in hh:mm format, it will round it to nearest full hour. Here is how you can use MROUND() function to round hours in Excel:

Assuming cell A1 has the value 09:17 and you want to round it to nearest full hour. You need to set up your function as:

=MROUND(A1,”1:00”)

And your function will return as 09:00
